In December 2016 & January 2017, I spent a few weeks in Europe.
The first goal of my trip was to finally get to see the Northern Lights, which I was able to do in Tromso, Norway. I also spent a lot of time trying to get acclimated to the time zone change in almost complete darkness.
After that, I visited friends in London & Glasgow over the holiday period, drinking lots of craft beer, seeing lights, and getting to attend a couple of Arsenal matches.
Then, I headed to France, spending several days in Bordeaux, taking in the sights, eating my weight in cheese, & drinking plenty of wine.
Finally, I ended my trip with a few days in Barcelona, Spain, eating wonderful Spanish food & drinking local craft beer. All of my posts from my trip are linked below.
I got to Europe & back on American Airlines business class awards. While in transit, I also visited several airline lounges thanks to my ticket access & Priority Pass. You can find all of my reviews of these flights & lounges below as well.
Here are all of my posts from the trip to Tromso, London, Glasgow, Bordeaux, & Barcelona:
