Here are some of my favorite Instagram photos I took in March 2015. The highlight of my travel this month was a week I spent in Arizona visiting friends, going to Spring Training, and going to a food festival. I also took day trips hiking south of San Francisco, as well as to Sonoma.

I started the month off with a hike in San Bruno Mountain Park, which you can read the details about here. This little lizard stayed still for quite some time so I could get a good photo.

My first meal whenever I visit my former hometown of Tempe, Arizona is always at favorite restaurant there, Cornish Pasty Co. Here’s a classic meat & cheese pasty.

There’s nothing better to do on a sunny March day in Arizona than go to a Spring Training game. We had a great afternoon sitting out in the sun drinking beer while watching a game between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Oakland A’s.

Another reason to visit the Phoenix-area in March is the Devoured Food & Drink festival, held at the Phoenix Art Museum. This was one of my favorite dishes of the weekend, short rib with coffee cardamom dirt from Wigwam.

More from Devoured: Maple Bacon donuts from Short Leash

Following the first day of Devoured, we went to Casey Moore’s, another old haunt of mine in Tempe. I ended up here several times while I was visiting Arizona.

It wasn’t all fancy restaurant food in Arizona. My friend made us some amazing homemade pho as well.

Back in California, this photo was taken on a hard day of work. One of our vendors took us out for a day of wine tasting up in Sonoma.

These salted caramel & citrus donuts are from Mr. Holmes Bakeshop in San Francisco.
