June was a fairly busy travel month for me. I went to South Carolina for work, spending a few days on Kiawah Island, then the weekend in Charleston. I also went to Seattle. Here are my favorite Instagram photos I shared this month. As always, you can follow me on Instagram here.

I started off my trip to South Carolina on a surprisingly rainy morning in San Francisco. It’s odd for San Francisco to be receiving any rain at all these days, but especially in June, which is typically a dry month.

On Kiawah Island, I went on a couple of nature tours. One of them was a nice bike ride all around the island. We saw a lot of interesting wildlife, including this tiny green frog.

There were also alligators.

The sunsets on Kiawah Island were simply stunning.

In Charleston, I stumbled on a great restaurant called Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit. If you’re ever visiting, I highly recommend it. Pictured are their cinnamon biscuits, as well as grits with cheese and bacon in a biscuit bowl.

Back in San Francisco, I went to the SF Pride Parade with some friends. Pictured here is Jim Obergefell, plaintiff in the Supreme Court case that allowed for same-sex marriage across the United States. I’m glad that my LGBT friends now have the same rights as everyone else in this regard.

I closed out the month in Seattle, Washington. This photo was taken outside The Pine Box, one of my favorite craft beer bars, which is housed in a former funeral home. Just as I was walking in, I noticed how the power lines looked against the cloudless sky.
