This month I visited Portland, Oregon, so a lot of my travel Instagram photos were from there. Here are a few of my favorite photos from April 2015:

Early in the month, I visited the Market Street Prototyping Festival, which featured street art prototypes that eventually may be featured in downtown San Francisco.

After going to a Travel Massive event hosted by Singapore Airlines, I saw this great sign outside a bar in North Beach.

I took the above photo of a sign in Chinatown along with the Transamerica Pyramid that same night.

I flew to Portland from San Francisco on Alaska Airlines, which is noteworthy because their flights depart from the international terminal. While we were waiting to depart, I saw two A380s, including this one from Emirates.

As we landed in Portland, the clouds were breaking, and a rainbow could be seen over the city.

My first meal in Portland was at The American Local, one of the best restaurants I have been to recently. If you’re looking for American-style tapas in a laid-back atmosphere, I highly recommend it. Pictured above is the pork belly skewer.

This is my favorite photo of this set. Rarely do I use filters in Instagram, but I liked how this photo at Slingshot Lounge looked in black-and-white.

Finally, it was time to leave Portland. It was cloudy, but on our ascent we were able to spot Mt. Hood poking above the clouds in the left side of this photo.

That’s it for this month, but you can follow my Instagram feed here.
