I spent most of July 2016 in Europe. After flying to London on an American Airlines award, I spent a few days in the city, which is one of my favorite places in the world. I was lucky enough to be able to attend a day of Wimbledon, plus the weather was nice for doing further exploring.
From London, I went to Gothenburg, Sweden for several days, exploring the city as well as the nearby islands. After visiting Gothenburg, I took the train to Stockholm for a week. During my time in Stockholm, I went to TBEX Europe 2016 and made some new friends while doing some tours and taking in the sights.
Following Stockholm, I headed up north to Umeå, Sweden with other travel bloggers thanks to Visit Sweden & Visit Umeå. From there, it was time to go south to Copenhagen, via Stockholm, where I closed out my trip relaxing and drinking craft beer.
It was a great trip filled with hanging out with friends, and it was a perfect time of year to go and enjoy the extended sunshine. Read all about my trip below!
