Anyone who travels has their fair share of stories about passengers who do not follow generally accepted social norms. Travelers on a recent Ural Airlines flight from Antalya, Turkey to Moscow, Russia have a story that will be hard to top, thanks to a woman who used an air vent to dry off underwear.
“The unnamed woman was flying on Ural Airlines from Antalya, a resort city in southern Turkey, to Moscow when she was filmed drying her smalls.
Witnesses said she didn’t seem embarrassed in the slightest as she spent 20 minutes holding her underwear up to the vent.”
You might expect that someone would say something to the woman, or at the very least discreetly notify a flight attendant, but nobody did. Instead, everyone just sat there for the whole 20 minutes as the woman dried out the undies. The important thing is that one of them filmed it.
Watch the video of a woman drying out underwear using an airplane’s air vent below (if that’s your thing):
Whether it was her underwear or if it was a child’s, it should go without saying that it is not acceptable to be drying out underpants in this manner, no matter how they got wet. It’s a bad enough story for the person who filmed this from several rows back, but imagine the unfortunate passengers nearby who had to breathe underwear-filtered air.
Time to add Ural Airlines to the list of airlines to avoid, especially if passengers are going to confuse “ural” and “urinal.”
