Uber & American Express have teamed up for a solid offer for free rides from select airports this holiday season. Uber users who pay with an Amex card can get 2 free rides, each with a value of up to $65.
Here are the details:
- This holiday season, American Express® Card Members can enjoy 2 free Uber rides (up to $65 each) originating from select airports.
- Just enter the code AMEXAIRPORT in your Uber app prior to requesting a ride, select an American Express Card as payment for the ride, and complete your trips before 12/31/16. Prepaid Cards not eligible.
And here is the list of airports where you can get a free ride with Uber & Amex:
LaGuardia Airport (LGA)
John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD)
Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW)

Remember that the free Uber rides are only FROM airports, and not to them. Still, this is a great way to save some money if you are arriving at one of these airports between now and December 31, 2016. Enrollment is limited, so I would add this code to your account sooner rather than later, in case it runs out.
If you aren’t yet an Uber user, you can use my link here and get $20 off of your first ride. I’d use that discount for another ride, not your airport ride, so as not to cause any issues with invalidating the better promo.
