Hopefully the Atlanta Falcons’ pilot knows European geography better than they do

This weekend, the Atlanta Falcons will be in London, England to take on the Detroit Lions at famed Wembley Stadium.

Just don’t ask their media and graphics department to fly them there, as their grasp on geography is just slightly lacking, based on this infographic they posted on the team’s website.

Yes, that map depicts the Falcons’ final destination as somewhere in Spain, which is not where London is located.

The site was fixed, but not before Matt Jones captured it on Twitter, where it was then shared to Deadspin and beyond.

The infographic actually has some interesting stats about the logistics of moving an entire professional sports team across an ocean for a week, including the note that the mascot has a seat on the plane. I hope they make him or her wear the costume for the entire flight. It does bring up this question, however: are falcon mascots forced by the TSA to remove their feet at security?
