Last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live had some great sketches (including the fantastic Melissa McCarthy as Sean Spicer), but one of the best was their new “Welcome to the USA” video for Customs & Border Patrol.
If you’ve ever flown into the United States, you’ve been shown a video that welcomes you to the country and outlines what the process for entering the USA is. The video goes out of its way to make it look like it’s this painless, welcoming process, but given the recent experiences that many people with valid visas have had attempting to enter the country, it’s hardly accurate.
With all of the recent changes in regard to the attempted Muslim ban, SNL put together this hastily-edited update to the Customs video, starring Cecily Strong, Kate McKinnon, Melissa Villaseñor, and Beck Bennett.
