My birthday just passed, and I got an e-mail from Virgin America offering 10% off my next reservation. There’s a discrepancy between the text of the e-mail and the fine print, so I don’t know if it’s good for a few days (August 14th) or just over a month (September 14th).
There are some blackout dates (no Friday or Sunday travel) and other limitations, but if you’re looking to fly Virgin, you might want to sign up for their e-mails if you have a birthday coming up soon.
The text of the e-mail I got:
Hi Jonathan,Today is your birthday, so we can finally give you your present—and we think you’re going to love it. Use the promo code to take 10% off* a joyride anywhere we fly. Grab a seat by August 14 to get away between September 10, 2014 and November 12, 2014.Seeing how you’re one year older, let’s make you one trip more traveled.Cheers,
