If you’re going to Everglades National Park, you’re quite aware of the dangers on the ground. It comes with the territory when you’re in a unique swamp ecosystem. On a recent flight from LAX to Melbourne, passenger Victoria Cleven opened up a package of trail mix only to find that rather than just the nuts she expected, it was also filled with live maggots.

An American Airlines flight from Dallas to Chicago was sent back to its gate earlier today after a flight attendant lost it and started yelling on the intercom that the plane was going to crash.
